Red Cross is helping Tornado Victims

COTTONVILLE -- The American Red Cross is seeking donations and volunteers to support Adams County tornado victims.

Thus far, the Red Cross has served more than 260 meals and 500 snacks this week to people affected by the Sunday storms.

Wine Tasting to Help Others

Faith in Action of Adams County is having a wine and cheese tasting at Tourdot Winery, 3619 13th Ave (5 miles north of the Wisconsin Dells) May 15th 2PM-6PM.

Jim Tourdot (two-doe)will be providing fine wines, cheeses by Carr Valley Cheese and chocolates by Swiss Maid Fudge of Wisconsin Dells. You can tour the winery and vineyard, enjoy music, join in on the raffles and meet Wisconsin's Alice in Dairyland.

Proceeds will support the programs of Faith in Action of Adams County, a volunteer organization dedicated to providing non-medical support services to the citizens of Adams County. These activities can include visiting, shopping, small home repairs, meal preparation, yard work, light housework and transportation.
