The Van Kuren Trail

Great for hiking and cross country skiing, the Van Kuren Trail is a 2.7 mile year round trail that meanders aound Lake Petenwell. Enjoy the rolling landscape, with stands of oak and pine, and views of wetlands and Wisconsin's second largest lake. You will see a variety of birds and wildlife. Markers along the way explain some of the area's unique features. The Van Kuren Trail is located in western Adams County off Chicago Avenue in Strongs Prairie Township.
