Christmas Fun This Weekend

If your looking to get out and find some Christmas fun this weekend - we've got some great events for you!

Friday, December 3rd get treats for the season at a Christmas Cookie Sale at Moundview Memorial Hospital in Friendship. Begins at 9 AM, so don't be late and miss the best selection.

Then Saturday, December 4th head to Rome, 'cause Santa's coming to town! Tree lighting and visits with Santa begin at 6PM at the Rome Town Hall. Sing some Christmas Carols while you enjoy hot chocolate, hot cider and cookies.

Finish off your weekend with beautiful music at the Faith in Action Annual Christmas Concert Sunday December 5th. Starts at 4PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adams.

If you'd like to do some holiday shopping stop by the Romemakers Annual Holiday Fair at the Rome Town Hall for crafts and refreshments.

If you spend opening day out in the woods, finish your day at the Annual Deer Hunter's Dinner at the St. Joseph's Center in Adams.

Halloween Dance - ATV trails close

Put on your costume and bring your dancing shoes! Saturday October 30th is the Lake Arrowhead Halloween Dance & Costume Party at 7PM in the Pines Lounge at Lake Arrowhead Clubhouse in Rome. Costume contest with prizes and music provided by the Ravens Band.

Monday November 1st marks the end of the season for the Monroe Prairie ATV Trails and Dyracuse Park. See you back in the spring!

Visit Roche A Cri Park for Halloween Fun

October 23rd will be the Roche a Cri Park Annual Pumpkin Walk and Hayrides. Games for the kids, build your own scarecrow (fee starts at $10), food available and Shuttle Bus service provided. There will also be a one mile Torch and Pumpkinlit walk. Meet at the Office Picnic area early 3-5PM for the Non-Haunted Hayride for $2, or come later 6-9PM for the Haunted Woods Hayride for $3

Annual Harescramble in Rome

It's Harescramble Time at Dyracuse Park in the Town of Rome!

Gates open at 6:30AM and the racing starts at 8AM. Tickets will be $5, and food will be available. Bring your bike and join the fun or bring a chair and watch the excitement.

21st Annual Lake Arrowhead Craft Show

The Lake Arrowhead Golf Club, 1195 Apache Lane in the Town of Rome, will be hosting their Annual Lake Arrowhead Craft Show September 4th from 9AM to 3PM.

Enjoy the hundreds of beautiful handcrafted items on display, and food and drinks will be available. The craft show will be held, rain or shine, and is handicap accessable.
