September 22nd there are two events for those who love the outdoors - which will you choose?

At the Rome Town Hall beginning at 5PM its Town of Rome Sportsmen Night sponsored by the Town of Rome Fire Department.

And at Cat's Down the Road in Arkdale starting at 6PM is the ATV Bear-Coon Ride sponsored by the Monroe Prairie ATV Club.

October 1st

Next Saturday visit Adams County and join in these fun events!

7th Annual Cemetary Tour begins at 9:30AM. The bus will leave the McGowan House in Friendship and you will visit the Olin Cemetery, Townline Cemetery, and Easton Cemetery and "hear stories of Spirits. The tour is $12/person for transportation and lunch. Contact www.adamshistory.com for more details.

Quincy Fire Dept. Open House and Annual Dance is also October 1st.  Head to the firehouse from 9AM-2PM, then to the Dellwood Pavilion for dancing 8PM-Midnight

For those who miss fun in the snow, check out the Vintage Snowmobile Race and Show sponsored by Rustic Ridge Riders and Castle Rock Lions. Registration starts at 8:30AM and racing at 11AM at the Adams County Fairgrounds.  Registration forms can be found here  www.rusticridgeriders.org
