7th Annual Cemetary Tour begins at 9:30AM. The bus will leave the McGowan House in Friendship and you will visit the Olin Cemetery, Townline Cemetery, and Easton Cemetery and "hear stories of Spirits. The tour is $12/person for transportation and lunch. Contact www.adamshistory.com for more details.

Quincy Fire Dept. Open House and Annual Dance is also October 1st.  Head to the firehouse from 9AM-2PM, then to the Dellwood Pavilion for dancing 8PM-Midnight

For those who miss fun in the snow, check out the Vintage Snowmobile Race and Show sponsored by Rustic Ridge Riders and Castle Rock Lions. Registration starts at 8:30AM and racing at 11AM at the Adams County Fairgrounds.  Registration forms can be found here  www.rusticridgeriders.org

Classic Car Show

3rd Annual Lake Classic Car Show will be this Saturday 8AM-3PM along the South Lake Center Marina on Lake Arrowhead in Rome.  Check out cars in 18 classes.  50/50 drawing with all profits going to the Adams County Humane Society.

Corn 'n Taters

August 21st is the 49th Annual Corn 'n Tater Festival in Grand Marsh.

Head to the Community Center from 11AM to 4PM for a great meal of roast beef, sweet corn and potatoes and then enjoy bingo, kids rides, corn eating contest, crafts, music, a flea market and lots of fun.

It's time for the Adams County Fair August 10th-14th at the County Fairgrounds in Friendship.

Tueday August 9th visit the Fairgrounds at 6PM for the Dog Show.

Wednesday is free admission.

Get a Carnival Mega Pass - good for rides Thursday-Sunday $50.

Castle Rock Triathlon

On July 23rd head to Castle Rock County Park for the 16th Annual Castle Rock Triathlon: a 1/4 mile swim, 16 mile bike and 3 mile run.

Sponsored by Adams County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism and the Adams-Friendship Student Council, registration will be Friday July 22nd from 6PM to 9PM in the shelter at the Park and Saturday 7AM to 8:30AM. The race begins at 8:45AM. There are 12 divisions, including a team division.
