Red Cross is helping Tornado Victims

COTTONVILLE -- The American Red Cross is seeking donations and volunteers to support Adams County tornado victims.

Thus far, the Red Cross has served more than 260 meals and 500 snacks this week to people affected by the Sunday storms.

Eat Breakfast and Support the Humane Society

Sunday April 10th you can enjoy a Breakfast Buffet at Main Street Station in Adams and help out the Adams County Humane Society.

Breakfast will be served from 8AM to Noon and includes: pancakes, potato pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, home made desserts, coffee and milk. The cost is $8, kids 10 and under $4.

There is still time to register your team for 2011 Trivia Turmoil sponsored by WDKM 106.1 FM!

The contest will be March 26th Noon to 10PM; you can play listening to WDKM over the air, or streaming from your computer. $25 to enter, funds raised will benefit The Adams Friendship Area Education Foundation. Winners will receive a trophy and t-shirts.
