18th Annual Castle Rock Triathlon

The 18th Annual Castle Rock Triathlon: a 1/4 mile swim, 16 mile bike and 3 mile run, will be this Saturday July 27th at Castle Rock Park in Friendship.

Registration will be Friday evening July 26th 6PM-9PM at the park shelter and Saturday morning 7AM-8:30AM. Race begins at 8:45 a.m. sharp. There are 13 divisions, including a team division.

Snowmobile Races

Two very different snowmobile races are coming up in Adams County over the next two weekends.

Saturday February 16th is the Snowmobile Outlaw/Ice Drags sponsored by the Rustic Ridge Riders and Castle Rock Lions. Registration will begin at 8:30AM at Carlson's Rustic Ridge on Castle Rock Lake with racing at 11AM. See the club's website Rustic Ridge Riders

Castle Rock Bassmasters Fishing Tournament

June 26th is the Annual Rick Klein Memorial Bass/Walleye Tourney sponsored by the Castle Rock Bassmasters. The event will be held at the Castle Rock County Park, Adams County (east) side. This is a team event, entry fee is $80/boat or team.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit area High School with $1,800 Scholarships in the name of Bassmaster Charter Member Rick Klein.
