Relay For Life

Support the walkers and have some fun for a good cause at the Relay for Life of Adams County Friday June 20th at the Adams-Friendship Middle School from 5PM to Midnight.

You can register to walk or make a donation at their website Relay for Life or just head to the Middle School and join in the raffle or silent auction.

The Rome Farmer's Market opens for the season June 6th and will be open every Friday during summer from 8AM to 1PM at the Alpine Village Business Park in the Town of Rome.  Check out their Facebook page Rome Farmers Market

Adams County Dairy Breakfast

The Annual Adams County Dairy Breakfast will be held at the Adams-Friendship High School May 24th from 7AM-11AM.  Enjoy scrambled omelet, potatoes, cheese, donut holes, fresh fruit, ice cream, milk coffee and juice.  Cost is $5/adults, $3/kids K-5th grade and pre-schoolers are free.

You can also take a tour of the New Chester Dairy in Grand Marsh - the bus will leave at 8AM and 10AM. There is limited space for the bus tour so please call Chuck Parr at 608-339-6062 for reservations.

Work-Play-Earth Day

Join in with the volunteers at Work-Play-Earth Day at Roche-a-Cri State Park in Friendship this Saturday May 3rd from 9AM to 3PM.  You can help park staff and Friends of the Park with their annual spring cleaning: putting in new playground equipment, cleaning up the campground and visitor use areas. The 11th Annual Lake Arrowhead Easter Egg Hunt for kids 12 and under 10AM at Lake Arrowhead Pines Driving Range in the Town of Rome.

The Easton White Creek Lions Annual Easter Egg Hunt - free coffee and hot chocolate - starts at 10AM sharp at the White Creek Lions Park in White Creek.

Walk for Autism

The 2nd Annual Walk for Autism will be April 5th 10AM to 2PM at Burt Morris Park in Adams. This event is sponsored by NorthStar Services and will go towards the development of a Sensory Room/Daycare for individuals not only on the Autism Spectrum, but who have sensory issues as well as helping parents whose financial limitations may otherwise prohibit them from participating in program services.
