June 26th is the Annual Rick Klein Memorial Bass/Walleye Tourney sponsored by the Castle Rock Bassmasters. The event will be held at the Castle Rock County Park, Adams County (east) side. This is a team event, entry fee is $80/boat or team.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit area High School with $1,800 Scholarships in the name of Bassmaster Charter Member Rick Klein.

Young Eagle Rally
There will be a Young Eagles Rally hosted by EAA Chapter 931, Saturday June 18th from 8AM to 1PM at the Adams County Airport.
The EAA Young Eagles is a program to give children 8-17 an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These free flights are possible because of the generosity of EAA member volunteers.
A Legal Guardian must be present for kids 8-17 to have a free flight. There will also be food and prizes. Rain date will be June 19th.

This Friday May 27th St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Adams will present Crown of Life New Orleans Musician Chris Driesbach in a Free concert at 6PM at the Friendship Village Park. Free hot dogs, chips and beverage will be provided.

Saturday morning they will be hosting a Football Camp with Packers William Henderson and Santana Dobson from 9AM to 10:30AM. Price for Camp Only $25 - Camp Plus Autographed Picture with participant and players $60 - Camp, Autographed picture with participant and players, and autographed Jersey $150.00.
Then Saturday afternoon is the ATV Poker run! Cost is $20 Per ATV/1 Rider or $30 Per ATV2 Riders.

Red Cross is helping Tornado Victims

COTTONVILLE -- The American Red Cross is seeking donations and volunteers to support Adams County tornado victims.
Thus far, the Red Cross has served more than 260 meals and 500 snacks this week to people affected by the Sunday storms.

Eat Breakfast and Support the Humane Society
Sunday April 10th you can enjoy a Breakfast Buffet at Main Street Station in Adams and help out the Adams County Humane Society.
Breakfast will be served from 8AM to Noon and includes: pancakes, potato pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, home made desserts, coffee and milk. The cost is $8, kids 10 and under $4.
